Infuse subtle, casual elements into otherwise, classically professional outfits to appropriately reflect that athletic setting. Now might be the perfect time to try the increasingly popular drawstring trousers. We show a patterned version of these in our How to Get Out of Your Comfort Zone post. You could also swap out your ho-hum office staple of a blazer with a more modern, moto-cut jacket in a soft material to get your look a little less stuffy. Take your shoe down a notch too and opt for a pair of flats or oxfords in lieu of pumps, which might be a tad over the top.
If you’re playing around with these ideas but not quite sure of what you’ve put together, err on the side of dressy and professional. It’s always better to be overdressed than underdressed in looking to secure any professional pursuit.
Good luck on your interview!
