Top-10 Skincare Products Under $10

In theory, the world is full of great cheap skin care products, but in practice, what's cheap to you might be really expensive to us, and vice versa. With this in mind, we've made a list of our favorite cheap -- really cheap, like under-ten-bucks cheap -- products. All of them work, and would have a home in our medicine cabinets even if we won the lottery.

Please note that the list isn't in any particular order. We could never choose between some of these products. They're pretty much all desert island picks.

1. Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub 

Exfoliation is probably the number one reason why we have clear skin. Seriously, this stuff makes your skin glow. And the beads are smooth, so you can use it everyday without worrying that it will cause micro-tears or any other damage. Plus, it leaves your skin tingling – perfect for waking up in the morning!

2. Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm 

Let us all bow down before Burt's Bees, the company that proved you can offer natural, pretty skin care products at reasonable prices. Unlike other tinted balms, Burt's Bees won't dry out your lips, or leave crusty build-up at the corners of your mouth. Plus, it actually seems to deposit, you know, a tint, which is nice in a tinted lip balm. We love the Hibiscus color!

3. Clean & Clear Makeup Dissolving Cleansing Wipes 

Look, we’re sometimes a little lazy. Who wants to come home from a late night out and wash your face? No one. But sleeping in makeup is so bad for your skin. That’s why we can’t live without these makeup-removing wipes. A minute to remove makeup is something we can definitely do, no matter how tired we are. Plus, they’re great to take with you to the gym for quick clean ups!

We’ve tried every lotion you can possibly imagine. This light and non-greasy lotion is the best. Whether you pick up the normal or the combination skin formula, you will not be disappointed. Our skin always feels moisturized but never too shiny, and the fact that we get our sunscreen protection and moisture in one step is fantastic!

5.Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller 

Ok, this roller probably isn’t going to do anything to fight aging, but if you’ve had a few sleepless nights, this will be your lifesaver. The roller feels cool against your skin and helps to decrease puffiness and dark circles. Like we said, lifesaver.

6. Ped Egg 

A confession: If we had a million dollars, we would spend every penny of it on As-Seen-on-TV products. Now that you know where we're coming from, we'll just say that we love the Ped Egg. It's basically the same product as that cheese grater-y foot file you've been using for years, glued onto a plastic egg shape that fits in your hand and collects all the grody skin shreds you just filed off. Since we're a big fan both of more ergonomically shaped beauty tools and getting to look at gross things we've removed from our body, we're obviously huge fans of the Ped Egg.

Remember foundation? Neither do we. Since the tinted moisturizer revolution, we've been hooked. We love this one because it brightens and evens skin tone while providing SPF 30. Natural, light-reflecting minerals and lightweight coverage blend away imperfections and immediately bring out skin's natural radiance.

8. Nivea Body Skin Firming Moisturizer Q10 Plus 

We’ve already established that we love double-duty products. So why not tighten skin as you moisturize? This lotion smells great and isn’t greasy, our number one issue with most body lotions. It absorbs quickly and maybe it’s just a placebo effect, but we feel a little more confident in our tighter and toned skin!

9. Biore Pore Strips 

Often imitated, never matched, Biore Pore Strips are still the only strips that really seem to work on our tough pores. They also get high marks for combining girly primping with that satisfying science-class eeeewww of seeing your blackheads staring up at you from a recently ripped-off strip.

10. L'Oreal Advanced RevitaLift Complete Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Moisturizer Eye Cream 

We know that we don’t have wrinkles yet. But there’s no harm in trying to prevent them – Lord knows we do enough damage to our skin everyday. This cream fights wrinkles, firms skin, and reduces the "morning puffy look." It’s our little insurance policy until we need to bring out the big guns!
